I understand this can be a stressful time, and my role as a mortgage advisor is to ensure you're educated and empowered when it comes to making decisions around homeownership and your finances. What to Expect When Purchasing

Pre-Approval

Getting pre-approved for a mortgage involves submitting financial information to Kayla’s team, who can discuss your creditworthiness and provide solutions, financing options and an official approval letter, allowing you to start touring homes.

Choosing a realtor

Finding representation is a key component of the homebuying process. Research and interview local agents to discover who you connect with and who you feel can best align with your needs.

Submitting an offer

You, your realtor, and Kayla’s team will collaborate to put forth the best offer. Kayla’s team will run estimates on the property ensuring you have all numbers before writing an offer. Your realtor will write a formal offer to be presented to the seller.

Offer accepted

Congratulations! You’re in contract! You’ll provide an earnest money deposit with your realtor and schedule a home inspection (if preferred). Kayla receives the offer from your realtor and will discuss next steps with you such as locking an interest rate and potential items needed from you.

Underwriting

This is a thorough review of your financial documents. Underwriters will evaluate your file to ensure you meet the required guidelines and confirm your affordability for the loan. You may need to provide additional information or documentation during this time.

Now You're Approved!

Congratulations! Your loan has been approved by underwriting. Final numbers will be provided to you with all details you need to know for signing day when you close on the loan and get your keys!
